FIELD TRIPS

 Bergen Equestrian Field Trip Program introduces students to barn life and the programs offered. During this half-day trip, students will visit horses in barns and stables and engage in a hands-on equine program curriculum. 

This curriculum ensures that students actively participate in learning about day-to-day barn operations, horse care, grooming, different horse breeds, and the benefits of equine therapy. 

The interactive experience includes visiting paddocks and a butterfly garden, immersing students in a natural environment that is part of OverPeck Park, providing them with a deeper understanding and appreciation of sustainable horsemanship. Students will have the opportunity to engage in educational activities with horses, such as painting, nature exploration, games, and more. Each field trip is designed to support the curriculum and goals of your classroom and is suitable for elementary or secondary education.
