Covid Safety

We are as committed today and every day, to the health, safety and well-being of our clients, staff and horses. We’ve put in elevated measures in place to ensure safety. We also know that outdoor activities, nature and horses can lift up spirits and strengthen the soul especially during these stressful times.

  • Masks Are Mandatory
  • Lessons and Riding will take place outdoors in most of all cases and social distancing will be practiced. We encourage 1 guest per rider or visitor.
  • We have significantly increased the frequency of cleaning at our facilities, with particular attention to work surfaces, stable area, bathroom facilities, door handles, and all points of common contact. We do suggest that clients and staff wear gloves.
  • We’ve increased signage around our facilities and are encouraging employees and clients to wash their hands more frequently.
  • We encourage clients, instructors, and staff to stay home if they are feeling ill or have been caring for someone who is ill. We recommend everyone self-monitor by taking their temperature and if it is above normal ~ please stay home. Consider the health and well-being of others just as you would want them to do for you. People are already understandably anxious.
  • We implemented the recommended “social distancing rules” by CDC to keep our staff and clients away from each other reducing risk of spreading COVID-19.
  • At Bergen Equestrian, we are committed to keeping our facility as clean and sanitary as possible ALWAYS, especially during times like this.

We ask for your full cooperation with all excessive safety measures. For more information please call 201. 336. 3370.

Safety Guidelines

As we head indoors for the winter season, we will be implementing new guidelines to help keep our clients and staff safe during these difficult times. These guidelines will take effect immediately and we appreciate everyone's help and participation as we make these adjustments.

· Only one spectator will be allowed for children under age 12 and we ask that you head home after your lesson ends. Other spectators may not visit at this time.

· Temperature checks in the office will now be required before your lesson. Anyone over 99.5 will not be permitted to ride.

· We are implementing one way traffic around the indoor arena. Please be mindful of the new pattern and DO NOT congregate at the entrance to the indoor ring.

· Our reception area and lounge capacity will be limited to 4 people at a time. No riders are permitted in the grooming area or outer barns.

· Please wash or sanitize your hands upon arrival and before leaving.
