After-School Leaders Program

Children (7-12) will enjoy the many great

OUTDOOR SPACES at the Bergen Equestrian Center.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 pm

This non-riding, equine learning and leading horsemanship program emphasize compassion, teamwork, and leadership skills.

$750.00 for 12 weeks 

$275.00 for 4 weeks 

The afterschool leaders' program highlights your child's innate leadership abilities as they develop healthy relationships and communication skills in the company of our horses and other children. All our work is on the ground, and there will be no riding.  

When you put your children in the hands of our adult team of experienced professionals (a leadership coach and an LPC who are equine specialists), they learn to read non-verbal cues, develop compassion, and understand their personal space and the needs of others. 

After School Leaders is not your typical afterschool horsemanship program, your child will have hands-on experience in our stables, pastures, and learning center with conversations and activities that emphasize safety around the horses, horse behavior, basic anatomy, equine communication, and body language, grooming and horse care and of course many horse fun facts!
